Monika Gos is a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist registered by the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council), and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society.
In her professional capacity Monika consults teams, staff members and clinicians working with individuals suffering from addiction and coexisting mental health problems in one of the largest charity organisations in the U.K. She also works individually with clients focusing on the resolution of the root cause of addiction.
Monika is one of the founding partners in an emerging private practice in London, where she sees clients presenting with attachment issues and symptoms of trauma. Before qualifying as a psychologist Monika was a professional, classically trained violinist: so one of her specialist interests in psychology is working with artists, performers and athletes on performance enhancement.
Monika is a Partner Member and a supervisor in the Polish Psychologists Association (PPA). She also supervises psychology students from the London Metropolitan University, City University of London to name a few. Monika gained her psychology degree in Poland, and continued to study Relational Psychoanalysis, Body Oriented Therapy – Core Energetics and Focusing Oriented Relational Psychotherapy in New York, USA. She is also an EMDR practitioner and Auricular Acupuncturist.
Her special interest in relational and body oriented, experiential therapy methods, led her to discover Brainspotting – a revolutionary, cutting edge therapeutic modality that embodies all the above aspects which constitute essential ingredients for neuroplasticity and lasting change.
Monika feels privileged to share the gift of Brainpsotting and for being able to bring deep healing into people’s lives, freeing them from trauma and persistent life patterns.
