Tracy Gantlin-Monroy, MDiv, LPC, affectionately called TG, maintains a consulting and private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the Resident Therapist, Grace Community Counseling & Social Services: first Black female Brainspotting Trainer in the world, founder of UnBound Black/BIPOC Women Healing, midwife to Brainspotting BIPOC Nation, and a fierce social justice proponent with a focus on inclusion through an intersectionality lens.
Tracy Gantlin-Monroy has years of experience in the mental health profession, a community partner, mental health and corporate trainer. She developed Brainspotting: Intersectionality & Social Justice, Marginalized Communities: Serving the Culturally Diverse, presented at the International Brainspotting Conference (2021) and host UnBound Black Women Healing Retreat. She is a graduate of Richmont Graduate University with a degree in professional counseling and the Interdenominational Theological Center with a degree in divinity. She graduated from both institutions with honors and is presently pursuing a PhD in mental health with Brainspotting concentration (IUGS).
She is trained in mental health, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing (SE). She maintains an astute interest in complex trauma, racial-trauma, social justice, and mining power at the speed of safety. Tracy recognizes interactions must be an engagement of respect, mutuality, reciprocity, love and kindness with the awareness of dignity.
