Krysta Winters prioritizes compassion, as well as being informed by evidence-based treatments such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Mindfulness techniques and Attachment Theory. I am able to create and navigate interventions so that I can respond to your particular needs. Trauma informed treatments such as Brainspotting help us when we have been wounded by experiences and need more informed care for creating safety in our own minds and bodies.
Whether struggling with mood management, behaviors, or just feeling too alone and overwhelmed with modern demands, therapy can be a place to learn to separate patterns that are helpful from those that aren’t and to be able to face challenges that enable us to grow into the people and values that matter the most to us.
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and eating disorders which include emotional eating and all forms of disordered eating. I also work with how to manage relationship conflicts and how anxiety impacts those around us. I primarily see adults across the age span and have been trained in Marriage and Family Therapy to help clients advocate for their needs in their support systems.
I also address how your personal and professional lives intersect, so if you are interested in personal growth that can be seen in your professional work, we can make this a priority for your personal development.
Having lived internationally in Europe, as well as in the East Coast of the US and Chicago, coming to Indianapolis has been another chapter to explore of how culture and personal experience interact.
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist both in Indiana and Illinois and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Illinois. I am available for video telehealth in states that participate in PsyPact as well as in-person in Indiana.
