More Information

Relationships play an important role in our everyday lives. When our relationships don’t go well, it can create a feeling of stress and uneasiness that can radiate into many aspects of our lives. As a Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist in East Lansing, MI, I work with individuals, couples, and families to help individuals and relationships heal. In addition, I offer therapy for individuals with trauma histories and experiences, helping them to heal the wounds left from their past or present. I work primarily with adults, but also teens and children as a part of a family system. My passion is helping individuals, couples, and families heal from challenging dynamics and events.

While we can’t change difficult situations from the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we can develop an awareness of systemic patterns or negative sensations or perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

If you’re looking for a psychologist or marriage and family therapist near you in the East Lansing, Michigan area, I offer support and guidance through challenging situations and dynamics. If you’re just ready to move in a new direction, please know that I will look forward to helping you to achieve your goals.  I offer a number of therapy strategies, tools, and modalities to facilitate change.

Dr. Dupuis is trained in the following treatment strategies:

  • EMDR Therapy. Using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, we’ll work through trauma and reduce its emotional weight. As an experienced childhood trauma therapist, I work with patients to reprocess distressing memories and promote emotional healing.
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Accelerated Resolution Therapy can help you address traumatic experiences. We’ll use this technique to process and resolve trauma, fostering positive emotional changes. I am an ‘Advances and Enhanced’ level provider.
  • Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). Discover harmony within yourself through Internal Family Systems therapy. We’ll understand and manage conflicting thoughts, emotions, and behaviors together for greater self-understanding.
  • Brainspotting – This is a practice similar to EMDR and ART. It uses visual points to help process trauma events. It is a powerful method in trauma management, utilizing somatic experiences to help the brain and body process past events in a new way.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy. Enhance your relationships with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Let’s work together to create secure attachments, strengthen emotional bonds, and improve connections.
  • Gottman Therapy. Using Gottman Therapy techniques, we’ll enhance your relationship by improving communication, fostering intimacy, and managing conflicts. Gottman Therapy will give you a roadmap to apply proven strategies to strengthen your bond.
