Ben Foodman is a clinical mental health and sport performance specialist. Within his private practice he has worked extensively with professional, collegiate & high school athletes as well as musicians experiencing psychological issues during performance. He also continues to provide clinical mental health services to veterans, emergency service professionals and individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, anxiety and depression. He utilizes Brainspotting, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, Biofeedback, meditation-mindfulness and when appropriate exercise prescription to help his clients address their mental health concerns. Ben received his first master’s degree in social work from North Carolina State University and his second master’s degree in sport psychology and motor behavior from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is a licensed clinical social worker as well as a certified strength & conditioning specialist and a tactical strength & conditioning facilitator through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
