I was first trained in Phase 1 of Brainspotting in 2017 and over the past 6 years, have participated in numerous successive Brainspotting trainings including Phase 2, 3, 4 as well as Brainspotting and Adoption, Partspotting, Limbic Countertransference, Brainspotting with Children, and a 5 day intensive. I firmly believe in continued education, practice and consultation to continue to hone Brainspotting skills. I seek out opportunities to learn from others through both individual and group consultation.
I finished my training to be a consultant in 2022, and have enjoyed assisting other Brainspotting practitioners achieve Certification.
I have a Masters in Social work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have 20 years of clinical experience, working with children and families. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, baking, exercising and reading.
