Hermann Liebenberg (DLitt et Phil) is a licensed Psychologist in Private Practice, Centurion, South Africa. Hermann is a certified Brainspotting therapist as well as a recent trainer in Africa, South Africa. He has a preference to work with Complex Trauma, other trauma related issues, Medical Psychology (Bariatric Psychology) and various other Mood Disorders as well as sport enhancement and performance issues. Trained as an EMDR Therapist, he prefers working with Brainspotting due to the efficacy of the intervention and the flexibility in terms of “non-prescriptive” therapies. Based on the very high level of violent crimes and his exposure to patients within this context in South Africa he also had major input in the field of Criminal Psychology in a book called “Man or Monster” as well as various other popular publications. As part of ongoing psycho-educational work Hermann has a weekly column on relevant psychological issues in a popular woman’s magazine, for the past more than 12 years.
