Brainspotting Attachment Specialty Workshop: Online via Zoom-Mountain time
Individuals with childhood trauma and attachment injuries may not have developed the neural networks to give or receive love, and so they don’t recognize it. Instead, they develop CPTSD as a result of relational trauma. Inadvertently, they choose partners and friends who replicate the past. Based on the long running Parental Wounds Workshop, this Specialty Workshop keeps the core principles of Brainspotting in mind while offering psychoeducation specific to CPTSD. I integrate visualizations and skills that BSP professionals can integrate into frontloading and backloading to support clients as they develop the neural networks to sustain securely attached relationships. There are two demos and practicums to practice setting up an attachment-focused frame.
